1. Our services

Whiplyn acts as your representative for vehicle import. We search for, purchase, ship, clear, and arrange delivery of vehicles sourced from the US, Canada, Dubai, and China on your behalf.

A dedicated Whiplyn-certified agent may be assigned to your order as part of Whiplyn’s service. That agent works for Whiplyn to carry out your approved instructions; you contract with Whiplyn for the service, not with the agent personally.

Vehicle purchase contracts are with the relevant seller or auction house. You approve the vehicle and spend; Whiplyn executes those approved instructions on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts to use Whiplyn services.

You are responsible for ensuring imported vehicles comply with Ghanaian regulations, including Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) requirements.

3. Payments & fees

All fees and cost breakdowns are provided before you approve any payment. Prices are quoted in the currency specified in your order.

You pay Whiplyn so we can hold and remit funds on your behalf to sellers and other third parties needed for your import. Refund eligibility depends on whether those funds are still held by Whiplyn, recoverable from a third party, or already spent, as set out in our Refund Policy.

Cancellation and refund rules are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

4. Limitation of liability

As your representative, Whiplyn may advise and share options, but you are responsible for deciding which vehicle and payments to approve.

Whiplyn is not the vehicle seller and does not guarantee auction, dealer, shipping, port, or customs outcomes after you approve a purchase. We are responsible for following your approved instructions, handling your funds carefully until remitted, and correcting clear Whiplyn errors such as purchasing the wrong vehicle against your approval or charging you in error.

Actions of your assigned Whiplyn agent in delivering this service are treated as Whiplyn’s service to you under these terms.

Whiplyn is not liable for delays caused by shipping lines, customs authorities, port congestion, or events outside our reasonable control.

Vehicle condition is disclosed based on available auction reports, dealer inspections, or manufacturer specifications. Review all reports before you approve a purchase.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
